When you started your network marketing business you may have been told to start a blog of your own. If you used WordPress, then that was the easiest part of blogging. It really doesn’t take more than a couple of hours to have a WordPress blog up and running. Problem is, you are going to have to spend many hours every week creating content for that blog.
Blogging is like writing a journal online. If you think of it like that then you really can start to build relationships by writing about your life as network marketer. It doesn’t have to be about the product. The best way to attract people to your blog is to help them when they’re having problems in their network marketing business themselves. Through your expertise and empathy you will be able to attract new prospects.
The network marketing industry is enormous and if you use that term and set up a Google alert you’ll be surprised how much information you’ll be emailed every day. Take the time to go through all the information you’re sent. Most of it won’t be of any interest but that other 10% may provide inspiration for blog posts and maybe even the occasional video.
If you get industry news from any source, be it television, newspapers or periodicals, put together an article quickly and publish it on your blog. Always try to be up-to-date on everything that’s going on in the industry. It doesn’t have to be about your specific product – you can talk about the network marketing industry in general.
Follow other Blogs
Take some time to follow other people’s blogs in your industry that you like. By leaving helpful comments you can benefit in two ways. You can find out what those blogs are talking about and come up with your own ideas on the topic. By leaving comments on DoFollow blogs you also get the opportunity to build backlinks. That means when you do leave helpful and interesting comments that blog’s readership has the opportunity to go through to your blog and read other content you have posted. If you have an opt-in box you also have the chance to capture those email addresses.
It’s always recommended these days that if you have a business online you should have a Facebook business page. You may have a LinkedIn profile. These and many other social media sites offer the ability to run polls. If you’re really getting stuck for things to talk about, then why not ask your fans and followers? A quick poll will encourage a surprising amount of responses and should give you endless ideas for further written articles and videos.
There has to be thousands of people thinking about getting into network marketing right now. If you can build a blog that really let’s your personality shine then you’ll get lots of subscribers. Keep them engaged by answering their questions promptly and posting plenty of content they will find beneficial. Don’t be afraid to talk about bad days. You know, those days when nothing seems to go right. It’s all part of the relationship building process and that’s what blogging is all about!
