Seeing people who do MLM online can really make you envious. They chat about how much time they have to do the real things in life like always being there for their children, or pursuing their hobbies. It gets a little depressing when you have a full-time job you hate and you have to squeeze in your MLM business into every spare few minutes that you have. You can build a successful MLM business part-time but you have to be able to dedicate a set amount of hours each day (even if it’s only 2 hours), make a definite plan, and have goals in mind.
Most of the successful MLM marketers you come across laughingly say they work full-time but in fact full-time to them is only a couple of hours a day. So you can look forward to wiping out the other eight or so hours you work every day for The Man, and then simply keep dedicating that couple of hours to your MLM business – and with the rest of the time you can live a real life.
Your website is going to be your main source of leads. If you do have 2 hours a day devoted to your business then the majority of that time should be spent generating leads. It doesn’t matter how pretty your website is and how much time you spend tweaking it, that’s not going to get you anywhere. It’s all down to marketing and getting your face in front of as many people as possible. This means posting YouTube videos and adding content to your site, writing articles for article publication sites and getting as many high quality backlinks as possible.
Work out a system that you’re comfortable with as soon as your efforts start bringing results. You should always be aware of where your traffic is coming from and your conversion rates from those sources. If one day you decide to try a different method of getting traffic to your site, make sure you collect all the data you can and then analyze it. If it turns out you’re wasting time trying to get leads from a source that continually sends you very poor quality leads, or no leads at all, then move on and try something else.
If you enjoy the social network marketing side of things then you will have to stay focused. It’s very easy to get distracted and start talking to your friends online. This is probably not going to bring you any qualified leads. Communicate with your friends outside of the two hours that you’re working on your business, don’t answer any e-mails during those couple of hours, turn off the TV and concentrate. When you work on your Facebook business page if you can do it for 30 minutes at a set time then your fans will know they can contact you during that time, that’s why it’s so necessary to create a schedule and stick to it. If people have to wait for days for replies to questions they will go somewhere else and it doesn’t look professional.
